Monday 15 April - Chengdu
We've seen the pandas - well presented and interesting - and now we're sitting at Chengdu airport waiting for the domestic flight to Xian. You can tell that we're "ticking the boxes" on the tourism circuit, coz the next main activity is the terracotta warriors.
We're told that flights from this airport have a bad reputation for being delayed, so our tour guide was quite cheerful when he said there only be a 20 minute delay.
Lots of photos of the pandas, and I'll post some in due course when it's possible to do so. In the meantime, it may not come as a surprise to hear that they're big and fat and black and white, and they spend their time eating (a lot) and sleeping.
