I wouldn't recommend making a trip across town just to visit the
Keilor Hotel, but if you happen to be in that part of the world, you can get a satisfactory meal in the bistro here. The serves are generous, the quality is quite good and the prices are reasonable. Service is at the table (both drinks and meals), and we were very nicely looked after.

The hotel has a history going back to 1840, and apparently some of the bluestone that is visible actually dates back to then.
This is complemented by some interesting historical displays in the hallway which are worth a quick look, although there is some forgettable kitsch as well!
