Next time I'll be more careful to take note of all these wondrous characteristics.gxhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10036211640500754443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8155641459395189956.post-11002519657511652632013-01-15T15:32:13.541+11:002013-01-15T15:32:13.541+11:00What about the beer on tap- Holgate from Woodend? ...What about the beer on tap- Holgate from Woodend? I loved the seriousness of this review

white head, which bleeds away rather quickly, leaving a drooping ring of lace around the glass.

It smells of grainy, crackery, a tad biscuity pale malt, a bit of aged lemon flesh, and bitter floral, grassy, herbal hops. Not too shabby for firsties. The taste is more deftly bready, crackery malt, a lightly caressing yeastiness, some sedate, generic citrus notes, and more floral, uncut grass hops.

The bubbles are decently present, i.e. there, but not idly noticeable, the body an adequate medium weight, and mostly smooth, a slight edge arising perhaps from those otherwise heroic hops. It finishes on the dry side, a nascent crispness sealing the deal.
Yantonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00465433629609489845noreply@blogger.com
